3rd Annual Doggies & Divas Luncheon & Fashion Show

This years event will again be held in the beautiful Lakeside Room at April Sound Country Club. All are invited to this fun luncheon & fashion event which features dogs "walking the runway". This year they will be in colorful Masquerade Parade costumes designed by Brenda Mack of Bark Avenue. All canine models are rescued dogs that have already found their forever homes or SPCA dogs who still need to be adopted. Area boutiques such as Cha Cha's, Diva's, Hoopla's, She She's and Doncaster will provide fashions for the ladies. In addition, a delicious lunch will be served as well as a silent auction, live auction and a gift-certificate restaurant tree. Activities begin at 11:00 am. All proceeds benefit our rescue pets as our organization is run totally by volunteers. Cost for this event is only $50.00. Lots of folks came out and had their pets and or childrens picture taken with Santa. Half of the Proceeds benefited SPCA PETS SNAP of M.C. rescue pets. We also had some of our adoptable rescue pets at the event. Most of the shops in Old Town Spring are pet friendly so you can also visit the shops. Get a collar charm for your pets and the kids can pick a gift from the goodie bag if you are one of the first 50 to have pictures taken with Santa. You get a 5X7 for $10.00 or (2) 5X7's or Wallets for $20.00 and S/H is $3.00 if mailed. This will help the homeless pets in our community and will be fun for your family and pets. PETFEST EVENT & PARADE
SPCA PETS SNAP of M.C. Rescue Pets & Volunteers "Rocked PetFest"
Old Town Spring on October 23rd & 24th, 2010
Our volunteers and rescue pets had a booth at the 9th annual PetFest Event in Old Town Spring. Our booth won 1st place in the best decorated booth so be sure and click on our Photo Gallery to see the pictures that our volunteer Keke took for us. We were also in the parade and thanks to our volunteer Judy you can click on the link below to see a video of our rescue pets, floats and volunteers in the parade and some live action shots of dogs playing the Bobbing for Wieners game which was a big hit at our booth. Thanks to the PetFest event we have found new forever homes for 5 of our rescue pets and may still have a few more to come. We want to thank all the people that work so hard every year to put the PetFest event together to help local rescue organizations and all the great pet lovers that came out to PetFest to help make it the great success that it was again this year. We would also like to thank all of our SPCA PETS SNAP of M.C. volunteers that worked so hard to make this years PetFest event a hugh success for us and our rescue pets. Our next big event will be "The Go Texan Parade on Feb. 19, 2011 in Conroe so stay tuned for more information to come on this event.
Dapper Dogs of the Runway

Calling all dogs of Montgomery County. Bring your pampered pooch to Conroe Petco for the Dapper Dogs of the Runway Fashion show and let them strut their stuff on the runway wearing their favorite outfit. Participants are asked to fill out an informational form describing their pets outfit. Click on the Forms/Applications menu item to your left and get your pet signed up. Forms will also be available at Conroe Petco starting on October 2nd. There will be prizes for the contest winners and goodie bags for all the doggie models. Pictures on the Red Carpet will also be taken and posted here on our website of all the model participants so you can show them off to your family and friends that are not able to attend. We will of course have lots of adoptable pets on hand as well for anyone that is looking for a new addition to their family. Please join us with or without your furry friends!
