Gordo appears to have some Lab and Border Collie ancestry, though he may also be a prime example of the famous Heinz 57 breed concept! But the outcome is cute and he's intelligent, playful and affectionate--a great family companion in the making! He's been well behaved at Petco Adoption Day events, and even completed a basic obedience course, though he remains a sensitive and somewhat shy dog with all the commotion. Gordo's foster mom says he does well on leash and with patience could learn, and would love, to go for runs or walks on a quiet street. Gordo loves being around his human companion and feels very secure in his crate, his preferred place in the house. He can be left for several hours in the crate with no problem. He tolerates the resident cats, and would probably be happy as an only pet. He loves attention and is learning to give love in return. An adoption fee of $95 includes completed neuter surgery, up to date vaccinations, heartworm prevention, worming and flea control. A one-time charge of $10.99 covers the cost of his lifetime, transferable microchip registration with Home Again.
