We've no idea how such a sweet little guy like Corky came to be without a family to love him!  The vet thinks he's about 8 years old and he's obviously enjoyed some good times in life as he likes kids, other dogs and even cats.  We're guessing he's mostly Chiweenie--meaning a Dachshund/Chihuhua mix with one upright ear, while the other droops at a stylishly rakish angle.  His foster family reports that Corky is housebroken, very well behaved and enjoys playing with their other pets.  This wonderful companion will have updated vaccinations and should have completed his neuter surgery and be available for adoption around the end of September.  His discounted adoption fee of $49.99 (reduced for a limited time from our regular $95.00) also includes worming, flea control and heartworm prevention, while a one-time charge of $10.99 covers his transferable, lifetime microchip registration with HomeAgain.  All in all, a great bargain for a furever rescue friend!  If Corky might be the one for you, please click on the arrow icon near the top of the page to submit an online adoption application (no cost or obligation).
