This PUG-nacious character named Mugsy is a friendly, ACTIVE and inquisitive guy!  He's clearly part Pug and we think maybe some Shar Pei contributed to his velvet-soft fawn coat?  Mugsy lived with a loving family for all of his 4 years until they had to very reluctantly surrender him to our rescue group due to an extremely serious allergy problem.  They told us that Mugsy has been their only pet, though he often visited another home with a dog and the two got along great.  He's adjusted easily to living in a foster home with 9 other dogs and quickly became affectionate with his new people.  Mugsy has also been good around children, though we have no idea what he might think of cats!  He'd thrive in a home with another dog to play with, and/or someone willing to exercise him daily.  When on leash, Mugsy pulls enthusiastically at the start of a walk but isn't large enough to create problems for the average adult.   His adoption fee of $125.00 includes completed neuter surgery and Mugsy is up to date on his vaccinations, worming, flea control and heartworm prevention.  There's a separate one-time charge of $10.99 for his lifetime microchip registration with HomeAgain.  Mugsy also comes with his own luxuriously large dog bed and 36" folding crate, along with our standard complementary collar/harness and leash set.  If you're a Pug lover and think Mugsy would make a welcome addition to your family tree this Christmas, please click on the green arrow icon near the top of the page to submit an online adoption application.  Thanks for thinking rescue!
