Meet Gertrude, one sweet but hefty girl that came in with her BFF (best feline friend) Hamlet. Gertrude's XL size and dog-like personality make us wonder if she might not have some Maine Coon in her.  She's also been declawed in front so must be an inside-only cat.  Sadly, their owner had to go into an assisted living home and could no longer keep them.  Both love attention and having their heads rubbed; Gertrude particularly likes to sleep in bed with her human at night.  She has been spayed, is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FIV/FeLuk and is on flea control/heart worm prevention.  If you're feeling particularly adventurous and might consider adopting two, Gertrude is already bonded with Hamlet and they'd make a great pair.  We're currently offering a 2-for-1 special on bonded pairs, so you can adopt both of these kitties for just $75.00, plus a one time payment of $10.99 each for their lifetime microchip registrations with HomeAgain.
