Little Trisha and her brother Willie were rescued from rough conditions by an SPCA volunteer. They are truly mixed breed pups, mostly Dachshund-Chihuahua (Chiweenie), though we're told they have a small Shepherd-Dalmation grandparent! Even though their dad was small, mom is medium sized and we think their growth rate suggests that should mature in the 25-35 lb. range. With improved care, they are both thriving and loving all the attention they're getting. However, due to their small size and young age they'd do best in a home with older children and adults. As with all our rescue dogs, Trisha and Willie have been neutered/spayed, and are up to date on their vaccinations, worming, flea control and heartworm prevention. Their adoption fee is just $95.00 each, plus a one-time charge of $10.99 for a lifetime microchip registration with HomeAgain. If you'd love to call one of these adorable pups a member of your family, please click on the green arrow icon near the top of the page to submit an online adoption application. Thanks for thinking rescue!
