Virginia adopted this dog from Galveston County Shelter

This sweetheart of a dog named "Mandy" is in search of a new family to love through no fault of her own.  She has the beautiful soft coat and gentle disposition of a Golden Lab, but matured to only about half the size (about 45 lb) of an average adult Lab.  It's been suggested Mandy might be a "Feist" cross and perhaps that's where she got that delicate muzzle and somewhat active nature.  She still needs to work on her leash training but is ever so eager to please and adores being with people and bonds quickly.  Mandy seems to be extremely good around children, but also gets along well with other pets (both dogs and cats) in her foster home.  However Mandy does enjoy playtime and needs plenty of exercise, which might include chasing cats if they choose to run!
