Imagine such a cute little guy lost or abandoned at a truck stop--that's where poor Galaxy had been barely surviving for months!  He appears to be mostly "Chiweenie" (a Dachshund/Chihuahua mix) and has a pretty bright red coat.  Despite an injured hind leg and some missing hair here and there, this dog has a wonderful and gentle personality.  He could hardly believe his good fortune when he was rescued and offered a foster home with good food, a warm, dry bed and gentle care!  Despite being a little nervous and shy around new people, Galaxy has never offered to growl or nip.  Our veterinarian did perform surgery to relieve the pain in one hind leg and Galaxy will hopefully recover atrophied muscle in that hip.  Now that his recovery is well underway he's ready to find a new and quiet loving home with a lap to sit in.  Galaxy's adoption fee is just $95 and includes his completed spay surgery and up to date vaccinations, worming, flea control and heartworm prevention.  There's also a one-time charge of $10.99 for his lifetime microchip with HomeAgain.  If you'd like to be the one to change Galaxy's luck and life, please click on the green arrow icon near the top of the page to submit an online application.  Thanks for considering a rescue pet!
