Bowe and Carbon were rescued by one of our SPCA volunteers, who found them running free together on Highway 105, not a good place to be for these two hunting type dogs!  We believe the beautiful Bowe is some sort of "bird dog" Pointer mix, while Carbon is blessed with that wonderful Labrador personality.  Even though Bowe had been previously microchipped, our best efforts to locate her owner failed, as contact information was not updated.   Their SPCA foster reports that both of these dogs are very friendly and have strongly bonded with each other, as well as being playful and good around kids and other animals (both dogs and cats).  Bowe in particular loves to wrestle with other dogs and enjoys K9 companions that welcome that sort of play.  Both of these dogs are confident indoors as well as in an outdoor kennel, but somewhat uneasy about being on grass (judging from areas of previously missing hair and calluses they may have lived mostly on concrete).  Once they're comfortable going outdoors on their own, their foster anticipates Bowe's occasional "accidents" will soon be history.   Now Bowe and Carbon are spayed and neutered respectively, and current on their vaccinations, worming, flea control and heartworm prevention.  Their adoption fee is $95.00 each, plus a one-time charge of $10.99 for a LIFETIME microchip registration with HomeAgain.  If you'd like to welcome Bowe and/or Carbon into your family, please click on the green arrow icon near the top of the page to submit an online adoption application.  Thanks for taking the road to rescue!
