Carbon and Bowe were rescued by one of our SPCA volunteers, who found them running free together on Highway 105, not a good place to be for these two hunting type dogs! Carbon is blessed with that wonderful Labrador personality, while we believe the beautiful Bowe is some sort of "bird dog" mix. Even though Bowe had been previously microchipped, our best efforts to locate her owner failed, as contact information was not updated. Their SPCA foster reports that both of these dogs are very friendly, playful and good around kids as well as other animals (dogs and cats). Carbon is also house-broken and well-behaved indoors, so likely had enjoyed a good and caring home before becoming lost. Now Carbon and Bowe are neutered and spayed respectively, and current on their vaccinations, worming, flea control and heartworm prevention. If by chance you're open to the idea of adopting two dogs, Carbon and Bowe are strongly bonded and should be very happy to remain together. Their adoption fee is $95.00 each, plus a one-time charge of $10.99 for a LIFETIME microchip registration with HomeAgain. If you'd welcome Carbon and/or Bowe into your family, please click on the green arrow icon near the top of the page to submit an online adoption application. Thanks for taking the road to rescue!
