This adorable little purebred American Eskimo dog named Foxie was living in a backyard because her owners couldn't seem to housetrain her. Within a month of her rescue by one of our SPCA volunteers Foxie was living inside the house without incident and strongly bonded to her foster. Though she didn't seem very interested in conventional dog toys, Foxie did seem to enjoy tearing up paper and cardboard (so empty your waste basket!). Foxie plays very nicely with other dogs yet she's rather protective and warns them away if they get too close to her person. As with all our rescue pets, Foxie has been spayed and is up to date on her vaccinations, worming, heartworm prevention and flea control.
