Shantay is a female German Shepherd that is very smart and eager to please.  She is playful and loving but as the name implies can also be very peaceful and calm and likes to get in some cuddle time each day.  Because this breed is both very active and intelligent she must be kept busy learning, playing, and working. So daily exercise, both physical (such as jogging and toy fetching) and mental (such as training sessions), will be a must.  She loves to spend some time outside everyday and likes to have lots of toys to play with and a nice place to spend some time laying in the sun.  She does tend to think that anything in her backyard belongs to her and will need some training to learn that some things are just for humans and not dog toys.
