Meet this adorable quartet of sisters named LYLA, Lacy, Layla, and Lux.  They were abandoned in a box by the side of the road and rescued in the nick of time by one of our wonderful volunteers.  Because we have no idea where they came from, we're guessing they're some sort of Lab mix, with possibly some Pointer (black and white spotted Layla and Lyla) or Boxer (brindle Lux).  Lacy appears much like a black Lab with a white chest.  Without their mom present to administer some canine discipline, they're all into very energetic rough housing before settling down for a nap.  These pups absolutely adore people but watch out for those pointy little puppy teeth and obsessive chewing on anything they can latch onto--totally normal for their age!  We feel confident they'd adjust to life around other dogs and probably cats, none of whom currently wish to endure their mock attacks.  For that reason and the protection of all, these pups would be best suited to homes without very young children. Since they're living outdoors in fan-cooled luxury they're not housebroken yet, but immediately chose to use the pee pads provided when they were first rescued.

These pups are scheduled for their spay surgeries on June 15th and should be ready to go to new homes by about June 22nd.  Once approved, applicants can meet the pup of their choice before then by special appointment at the Conroe Petco store (located just off I-45 at Loop 336 NORTH).  The adoption fee of $100 each includes spay surgery, vaccinations to date, worming, flea control and heartworm prevention.  A lifetime microchip registration with HomeAgain is also included at no additional expense.  If one of these cuties has stolen your heart please click on the green arrow icon near the top of the page to submit an online adoption application at no charge or obligation.  Thanks in advance for offering a rescue pup a loving home!
