Meet Lexi one of 3 kittens (siblings are Levi and Lana) in this litter that are looking for new homes to call their own. Lexi is Brown and White Tabby, Levi is a Orange/Cream Tabby and Lana is a Brown Tabby. All are short hair. They are bottle fed kittens that came to us at 3 weeks of age and all were sick with Lexi being in the worst condition with one eye unable to open and the other one open but already with damage to it. They were all put on a round of antibiotics twice and a culture was done since they were not improving. Culture came back and showed they had Mycoplasma. They were put on recommended treatment (Doxycycline) for 30 days but by this time Lexi has lost her right eye. The treatment worked and we were able to save her left eye but she does have limited site in it. Both Levi and Lana made full recoveries. Because these were all bottle fed kittens they think people are great. They love to play with toys, each other and humans. Even with limited eye sight Lexi plays and gets around just fine and when you see the three of them together you can see her disability does not hold her back at all. She is the most playfull of the three of them.
All three are now staying in our adoptable cat Habitat inside Conroe Petco. You can stop by and visit with them in person to see if one or two may be a good match for you. As with all our rescue cats, they are neutered, tested negative for FIV/FeLuk and are current on their vaccinations, worming, flea control and heartworm prevention. Their adoption fee is $80.00 and includes a LIFETIME microchip registration with HomeAgain. We have a special if you adopt a bonded pair of just $130.00 for two of them. If you'd like to offer one or two of these cuties a loving home please click on the green arrow icon near the top of the page to submit an online application (no cost or obligation). Thanks for thinking rescue!
