Beneath Monty's rather gruff looking exterior beats a gentle and affectionate heart.  He's somewhat shy and uncertain with new experiences but gains confidence quickly.  Found as a stray roaming the ditches in search of food, Monty seems so grateful when people show him kindness.  Somewhere between young adult and adult as it is hard to say because he came to us in such bad shape.  If you think you may be interested in adopting Monty, please go to our home page at www.spcaofmc.petfinder.org and fill out an online application but understand it may be a few months before he will be ready to go to a new home.  We'll gladly arrange a time for you to come and meet pet to person to see if it might be a good match.  Thank you for considering a rescue and please spay or neuter your pets.
