Patches is the lovely Calico shown cat-napping here with "Prime" who's also up for adoption.  Patches is very sweet and gets along well with other pets, including gentle dogs.  Quite the extrovert, Patches comes to "talk" with you and meows to communicate her desires (asking for a head and back scratch, to go out on the screen porch or for dinner to be served).  Rather shy with strangers, Patches usually prefers women over men or children.  Clever for only about a year old, Patches has learned to open doors that aren't firmly latched.  She tested negative for FIV/FeLuk and has had her shots and been spayed.  If you're considering a pair of cats she and Prime would be great together.  If you are interested in meeting Patches please go to our home page at www.spcaofmc.petfinder.org and fill out an online adoption application so we can set up a time for you to come and see if she's the right new pet for you and your family.  Thank you for considering a rescue pet.  Please spay or neuter your pets.
