Meet Scooter.  We think she looks like a cross between a Whippet and a Treeing Tennessee Brindle.  She does seem to have some some kind of Sighthound in her.  She was apparently already a mom several times over and preparing to repeat when she was rescued.  Good care has put on some needed pounds and added shine to her coat.  She was picked up as a stray struggling to survive.  Scooter appears to be about 2 to 3 years old.  Despite her ordeal, she's a real sweetie that will make a wonderful companion.  She has a submissive personality with other dogs and people and just loves everyone she meets.  She loves to go for car rides and is always ready to go to all of mobile adoption events.  She was a model at our Divas & Doggies event and you can see her runway pictures on our website.    This new picture of her was taken at our Pictures with Santa event we had this past December at Different Strokes Pet Boutique in Old Town Spring.  Scooter told Santa all she wanted for Christmas was a new home to call her own and Santa told her that she might even find her new family at the event so she was on the look out but they did not show up so she is still waiting for the right new family for her to come and find her.  Scooter is one of our best adoptable medium size dogs so we are not sure why we have had her for so long.  She is so well behaved and just loves everyone she meets.  If you think Scooter may be the right new pet for you please go to our home page at www.spcaofmc.org and fill out an online adoption application.  We'll set up a time for you to meet her in person.  Scooter thanks you for considering a rescue pet and your support.
