Small yet mighty pretty well sums up "Chewy", a purebred Chihuahua and brother to "Choctaw". Rescued in January, these siblings have put on both weight and that Chihuahua attitude! Determined to protect home and family, their foster reports they don't need an alarm system or door bell anymore. Yet both are gentle and can easily be picked up and cuddled by strangers, though they take a few minutes to relax with the idea. As soon as their spay/neuter surgeries have been completed they'll be ready to go to their new homes (probably early March). It's been recommended they be placed in separate homes, since siblings can sometimes tangle as they mature. If you think Chewy might make a great addition to your family, please go to www.spcaofmc.com and click on "Forms and Applications" in the green menu box to your left. There's no cost or oblligation to filling out our online application and it helps us find the best "match" for our animals. Thanks for thinking "Rescue"!
