"Rowdy's" beautiful coat and manners reflect his Golden Retriever heritage, though he's more of a "compact size" (approximately 45 lbs. and estimated at no more than 2 years old).  He was recently picked up as an unclaimed stray and gets along great with people (including kids, but has a special affinity for men), other dogs and cats.  His foster says he's been an outdoor dog so his knowledge of house training is uncertain, and once easily cleared a 4 foot fence,   True to his breed Rowdy's extremely intelligent and gentle, herding wandering kitties back into the safety of the house on command.  Rowdy hasn't yet had his neuter surgery, but will have completed that and be up to date on his vaccinations before he's ready to leave for his new home.   If you think Rowdy might be the one for you, please go to www.spcaofmc.com and fill out an online application (on the home page, click on Forms/Applications in the green menu box at the left sidebar).   Thanks for considering a rescue pet!
