Tango was one of the models in our Doggies & Divas Luncheon & Fashion Show Event on 11/15/14.  He was a great model and enjoyed the attention he got a the event.

It takes two to Tango and this boy would certainly love to find a person (or two) to dance with him. Meet Tango, a Lab/Boxer mix who is only about 18 months old.  He had a rough start in life. He and his sister Lola were found abandoned in a horse pasture. Both were thin, starving and covered with fleas. But a wonderful SPCA PETS SNAP of Montgomery County volunteer rescued them, took them home and gave them both lots of TLC. Tango is now happy, healthy and ready to find a family filled with folks who will love him forever.  His sister Lola has already found her new forever home.

 Tango is loving and affectionate walks well on a leash.  Tango recently enjoyed going to the Pet Fest Event in Old Town Spring and is always a good boy at mobile adoption events.  He gets along great with other animals and all kinds of people, even the little ones.  As with all young dogs Tango loves to play. He loved playing fetch with his sister Lola before she got adopted and the two of them had their own unique rules. Lola would chase and retrieve the tossed toy and then Tango would steal it and play “keep away.” Tango is very laid back and would also be happy being a couch potato most of the day.  He weighs about 60 pounds and is a gorgeous boy with short easy to care for fawn and tan fur with beautiful white markings.

 As with all our rescue dogs, he's already neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, wormed, micro-chipped and has received monthly flea/heart worm preventative.  All this for an adoption fee of just $95 plus $10.99 for lifetime, transferable microchip registration with Home Again.
