My name is Tandy, and I'm an enerJETic fun loving girl who likes everyone I meet. My house manners are very good, I walk nicely on leash, ride quietly in the car and come running when called. And I can teach humans to pick up their shoes and T-shirts, which I carry off (but do not chew up) if left on the floor! Maybe I've got some Whippet relatives because I look rather like one and spend lots of time running and playing. Though I adore other dogs, they don't always return my affection, as my pesky rough housing can either intimidate or aggravate them! So they must be equally playful, endlessly patient or confident enough to correct me properly. Now I'm looking for a home with a nice big fenced backyard or some one who will take me on long walks or jogging every day. I bond quickly to people and will adjust to a new home in no time at all. When I was just a pup (see those cute baby pix!) I was rescued by an SPCA volunteer. I'd been hit by a car and left on the side of the road for a couple of days, unable to move, but my brave mother came to me so I could nurse! All healed up now, and you'd never guess I had TWO broken legs--takes more than that to slow me down.
