Consider Mia, a darling Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier mix who was just returned to our program through no fault of her own (her adopter developed medical problems). Mia strongly bonded to both her foster mom and adopter, but is generally shy around new people. But for her special person, Mia walks nicely on leash, comes on call and loves to cuddle or take a ride in the car. She'll require a patient approach with affection and would do best in a relatively quiet home without small children. As with all our rescue pets, Mia is already spayed, up to date on her vaccinations and worming and on a flea control/heartworm prevention program. Her adoption fee is just $95 plus a one-time charge of $10.99 to cover the cost of her LIFETIME, transferable microchip registration with HomeAgain. If you'd like to call Mia "mine", please click on the green arrow icon near the top of the page to fill out an online adoption application. Thanks for thinking rescue!
