Introducing “Ruckus”, a 5 month old Maine Coon mix male kitten who is so very friendly and not at all the rabble rouser his name implies! Ruckus has such a friendly, easy-going nature; he totally adores people and gets along great with other pets. His foster reports "He has a great big personality that will just draw you to him, he owns any room he walks into! Such a hoot always scooting sideways and he's got a bottle brush tail on him, one like I've never seen before. We've been working on not climbing on the furniture and learning the word "no". He's responded well and learns quickly. He is very brave for such a little guy, very interested in our dogs (one being a great big German shepherd). He's met them through a baby gate but sticks his arm in and reaches for them. Slowly he's gotten to know my male cat Talon, they've both done so well. Ruckus is very adaptable. I'd like to see him go to someone who can appreciate all that he is--not your typical cat at all, dog like personality for sure. Oh and he loves to be held and carried around, just goes limp almost." Even with Maine Coon in his ancestry, we don’t expect Ruckus to mature much beyond large house cat size (about 15 lb.). As with all our rescue cats, Ruckus is already neutered, tested FIV/FeLuk negative and is current on vaccinations, worming, heartworm preventative and flea control. The usual feline adoption fee is $75, but we are running a current special—just $49 each for kittens (or two for $75) and only $29 for adults still needing new homes!
