Meet Jake, a 4 month old Tabby male, who we think may be part pirate as he was found hanging around a local marina with an injured eye.  A wonderful volunteer rescued Jake and took him to the vet to see if his eye could be saved.  Unfortunately, it could not.  However, Jake is now healthy and pain free and quite frankly, doesn't realize that he is handicapped in any way. His favorite toy is a yellow plastic ball and he will play with it for hours and for some reason likes to put it in his water bowl when he is done playing with it.  Jake is very friendly and loving with people.  Maybe he realizes that because of a human friend, he now has a chance a finding a forever, loving home!  And Jake is so gorgeous, with his orange and white tabby stripes and cute markings.  Johnny Depp may need a patch to look handsome, but not our Jake!  Not only that, but he is current on shots, FIV/FeLuk negative, on heartworm and flea prevention and, of course, is neutered.  Now all he needs to start 2016 right is to find a family who will love him for the rest of his life!  If your New Year resolutions included adding more love to your life, then Jake is for you!  Just click on the green arrow above to fill out an online application.  See for yourself just how precious this guy is right now, as he is staying at our Adoptable Cat Habitat at the Conroe Petco.  Thank You for considering one of our rescue pets.
